Well its been a pretty busy few weeks for me recently with lots of things happening. As im sure you already know i have now become a New york red bulls player for the season ahead.

The process has been a long ongoing one but i am very much looking forward too being a part this franchise and club. This year NY will move into their new stadium and will also be looking at improving on a disappointing last season. There are big plans ahead for NY and i hope i can be a big part of a great season with them.

Alot has been said about the reasons about why i left toronto, but let me just say this without going into too much depth.

I was clearly told by the club back in november that i was not going to be part of their plans, was not the type of player that was wanted, was too old and was looked at being moved out. I totally except that this happens alot in football all the time. Therefore when i returned in february it was always going to be hard for me to try and be happy. I was dealing in “facts” that were told to me by the club that i was not wanted and was nt part of moving forward.

I loved every minute of my time at toronto and made some great friends both on and off the pitch. I loved the city, loved the fans but more importantly my family loved the life there. I had made plans to finish playing there.

But as you find out in football things never quite turn out as you plan.

But what a time to be joining NY and the exciting times ahead . I have have spoken to Eric Soler and Hans Backe and their vision and plans for the club ahead is very impressive .I am raring to get started!!!
